OMI Corp. (OMM) is seeing some good action today.. It blasted through both the 50 and 200dma on good volume so keep a watch on this for the rest of the week.

BCON

Bcon is turning into a real stinker. This is it's sixth down day in a row, the MACD has turned bearish, and there has been some insider selling. I would stay out of this one until the results come back from the California deal.. Remember, they haven't even shipped the units out there yet, so it could be a while till BCON is back to its old self.

BOOM Technical Analysis

Shares of Dynamic Materials Corp. (BOOM) have been booming today.. Although I do have one concern. Where's the volume? With no volume, its going to hit the 50dma and get sold all the way back down. There are two more hours of trading today, so keep a watch on Dynamic Materials.

It looks as if there is a cup and handle forming in Quanex Corp. (NX). Be on alert for a breakout above the cup line confirming the trend.

Hurricane Katrina

Early estimates put damage from the hurricane at up to $26 billion. This is bad for insurance companies like Allstate Corp. (ALL) who have to pay the claims. Keep this one on the doppler as the hurricane takes it's toll on the southern coast.

Shares of StemCells Inc.(STEM) are seeing lots of support around $5... could be a triple bottom forming. Keep a watch on STEM in the weeks to come.

Hansen Natural Corp.(HANS) has been performing well this year. As far as technical analysis goes, it looks as if the MACD is beginning to look bullish.. Also it was announced recently that HANS is gong to be added to the S&P SmallCap 600. I would keep a watch on this one in the weeks to come.

GOOG is trading down this morning after the company announced they are selling $4 billion in stock.. So what are they going to buy? I wouldn't be surprised if we find out in a week or two... something is about to happen.

Keep a close watch on SIRI this week.. it just tested the 50dma. The stochastic looks bullish, but the MACD isn't looking too hot. To be sure, I would wait for the fast line to cross the slow line, or at least until they converge a little more.

BCON earnings

BCON is going to report their earnings today after the bell. I generally don't like to hold any position through earnings unless I'm very confident of the outcome. As far as BCON goes, I would not expect to hear anything financially exciting... but I do like the direction the company is going. I am choosing to take my profits and not risk an earnings disaster. Don't get me wrong, I like where BCON is going, but if this thing is going to go through the roof, will it matter if I bought it at $2 or $4? Profit is always better than a loss. I've learned the hard way that it is far better to realize gains and make a profit than to risk see it all go away and some. Pigs get slaughtered.

ONNN TA

It looks like there could be a possible reversal going on in ONNN... check out that hammer (bullish). Also, the stochastic indicates that the stock might begin to rise too. Keep a watch on this one to see where it goes from here.

BCON

BCON is at it again.. it was just a normal day in BCON land today. Nothing too special, just another 30% gain!! This stock is nuts.. but I guess that makes me crazy too for owning it then. How long will it last? Tomorrow might serve as an indicator of things to come .. if we have a successful test of monday's high, chances are this thing could go up again. As with any stock as volatile as BCON, you have to keep a very close watch on it to protect your gains.

Goldcorp

Goldcorp (GG) is trading up once again today.. Goldcorp is a great company to own. With the rising price of gold, being the lowest cost producer in the industry is great. GG also pays dividends and has great financials. Definitely keep Goldcorp on the radar as time progresses.

AAPL

Its time to look at AAPL again.. those ipods are just too darn cool. The chart tells me it's poised for another run up. What did you say?? Is that patent rejection I hear?? Well in my opinion I don't think this is a serious issue. The ipod has too much name recognition for some knockoff to come in and steal its thunder. I may be crazy, but I always thought an Apple a day keeps... Microsoft's patent lawyers away??

Volume Alert

Agile Software Corp (AGIL) has been trading up on heavy volume for the past couple days.. it was also upgraded on Monday. Keep an eye on this one as the week progresses.

Good MORNing

Morningstar (MORN) reported their second quarter earnings yesterday.. and it was a blowout! They had a net income of $9.5 million, or 22 cents a share, compared with $1.3 million, or 3 cents, earned this time last year. The stock finished up about 16% for the day. Morningstar recently went public in May and its shares are up just over 70%.

PCO watch

Premcor (PCO) has had an outstanding year thus far. With the pending Valero takeover and rising oil prices, this stock is looking even better.. definitely keep PCO on your watch list.

OMM

Today OMI Corporation (OMM) approved the buyback of an additional three million shares. This is on top of the four million share buyback announced last december. OMM is trading up on the news so keep it on the radar

Google is nearing its 50 dma.. i would wait to see if it crosses below or bounces back up before making a move.

i like how after this stock jumped up in february, it waited to test its 50 dma before starting to rise again. definitely keep ACDO on the radar

BSX recently crossed above its 50 dma. it appears that its recent downtrend may be coming to an end.. so keep this one on your watch list

BYD is testing this april's lows.. a successful test will be very bullish indeed. also the stochastic indicates it may be oversold.

keep an eye on TALX... it has had a very strong year so far and shows no signs of slowing down.

last week there were some instances of insider buying in Anadigics Inc (ANAD). the stock has also been on the rise lately. keep an eye on this one as more information comes to light.

Last week, Howard Stern signed a contract with In Demand to broadcast his radio show on TV. The In Demand show will contain highlights of his radio program, but unlike E!, it will be uncensored and only available through subscription.
