AEP

Last week I posted an article that talked about the advantage of buying stocks that paid dividends.. American Electric Power Co. Inc. (AEP) is a great company and a wonderful example of what I'm talking about. Right now, this company will pay you 3.6% of your investment annually in dividends. Over time, this can really make you some money.

As you can see, if you had bought this stock 10 years ago, you would now have a gain of 72% from the dividends alone!
